Pets must be up to date with all vaccinations and proof of this brought when bringing your pet for their stay unless otherwise advised by us.

Who we are

Welcome to North Rigton Country Kennels and Cattery, a family-run boarding kennels and cattery in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. We offer both day and overnight boarding for dogs and overnight boarding for cats.

All sizes and most breeds of dogs and cats can be accommodated. 

If you have a dog that has not used a kennel before for overnight boarding and to help ensure they settle into kennel life without difficulties, we recommend your dog comes to us one day for day boarding; the day boarding charge for this will be deducted from your first overnight booking; please telephone us to discuss this fully. 

We are fully licensed and insured

We are committed to providing your pets with a safe, happy and comfortable experience whilst staying with us. We are fully licensed and insured and have a team of experienced, caring staff who are all animal lovers and pet owners themselves. Regular staff training takes place, including pet first aid.

Your pet will enjoy their stay with us

We always do our utmost to ensure your pet will enjoy their stay with us, making them feel welcome and loved. We live on site and check round at least once during the evening, and are happy to give night time medication if required at an extra charge.

We are receiving an unprecedented level of telephone calls and emails. we aim to respond as soon as possible but may take 48 hours during busy times. If you do not receive a reply to a voicemail it may be that we have been unable to understand you message especially if left from a mobile

Where We Are

We are located three miles south west of Harrogate on the A658. We are within easy reach of Otley (7miles), Knaresborough (7 miles), North Leeds (8 miles) and North Bradford (11 miles).
